SUMMARY:Consent for Autistic Folks
DESCRIPTION:Hello! I’m Ella a self-diagnosed autistic workshop facilitator whose special interest is all things consent. I think consent is a foundational skill that underlies all aspects of social interaction – not just in the bedroom! Unfortunately\, it’s not often taught and it so badly needs to be practiced.In this workshop\, we’ll practice tools to check in with ourselves\, recognize when a boundary or need needs to be communicated\, and how to approach those conversations. I will guide you through open discussions and exercises. I’m trauma-informed and hold spaces with care and flexibility so you can always decide if you want to partake in an exercise or just watch. There might be touch-based exercises if the group feels comfortable with it and there will always be a non-touch alternatives available. \n\n\n\nEveryone is welcome!
